    is Network Marketing dead?

    By J.R. | January 11, 2008

    Hi Fellow Entrepreneur,

is network marketing deadI have not been to a hotel Network Marketing meeting in  what seems like a very long-time. Probably almost in a year now (since I was doing my own meetings).

Not that I did not enjoy them, I did. On the contrary I LOVED them but as an entrepreneur we have to recognize that the world is changing.

It is changing, and changing fast!

In fact, I noticed these changes years ago when I was promoting Pre-Paid Legal Services (legal services and identity theft services). I noticed that fewer and fewer people were showing up to any Hotel meeting, even in the BIGGEST of metropolitan cities!

I had no problem getting 10+ guest to every weekly meeting but everyone around me seemed to be failing.

You would see a new associate with PPL join and have some initial success by enrolling their 1-3’s (I will talk further about this on the webcast) but they never seemed to bring in the 6+ type people. So what would happen is their dream would dry up and they would fall out and quit.

I was using techniques from my “101 Ways to Double Your Downline and Triple Your Check” system and consistently had 10+ guest show up to the weekly meeting. In fact, I once tested one of my techniques and had 43 people (YES forty-three) show up to a Barnes & Noble to meet with me.

So is Network Marketing Dead? Depending how you look at it. That IS how Network Marketing Worked in the 1980’s and 1990’s!

I have a webcast/webinar scheduled this coming Monday (January, 14th 2008) at 8:00pm (Mountain time zone). You can receive a free invite to this webcast by simply posting a comment here on my blog. After I read your blog comment I will send you an email with the webcast password.

    Have an awesome day.

Hi J.R.! That was a very insightful Webcast. I learned some interesting things I’d never considered before.
In today’s economy, there are a lot of people who are forced into looking for something new to do or extra to do. This is a very inexpensive and targeted way to find people quickly and effectively.
Will it take some time? Sure, but what doesn’t! A want-ad is kind of a financial hole in the pocket anymore. This just makes sense.
I’ll be looking forward to more interesting information. Thanks again for all of us lucky people!
