I really like your vernacular and I think you have really hit the nail on the head. I have been ignoring the stock market roller coaster. I don't watch the news or listen to talk radio.

I just negotiated a 75% reduction in my phone book advertising. I am running $1200 worth of ads for around $200. I also expanded and started advertising in a national magazine you may have heard of Popular Science.

In spite of the economy, I have continued my plans to expand my business, bought new equipment, hired a new employee and recently moved into a new larger facility. Am I nuts? No. I don’t think so. I just refuse to take part in the recession. Maybe it is because I was on the grind in good times. I’m still on the grind so I don’t really know any different.

Did I mention I recently purchased a new home? I just test drove the new Jaguar XF ( I wasn’t as impressed as I though I would be). Still looking. There are great deals and now is the time to take advantage. Make the best of what many call a bad situation.

I think many industries such as MLM will continue to BOOM in these times. There is always a great number of home based businesses started during recessions. I think this has to do with the fact that people find themselves at the mercy of someone else’s decision. They wake up one day, lose their job or security, and think I need to take matters into my own hands. I need to be my own boss and make my own decisions.

So I totally agree I think now is a great time of prosperity for those brave enough to take risks and stay the course. People like those who chose to sign up with this new mlm www.sparkprosperity.com (shameless plug) or many other business opportunities. This advice isn’t just good for MLM companies though. I think your advice is a good shot in the arm for Americans in general.

I applaud your blog and efforts to spread grand ideas when so many are bombarded by dismal news headlines. Keep up the good work J.R.
