I can hear the screams from uplines all over the world. While I’ve been vacationing all over the World and taking the last few months off your upline has decided to take advantage of you more then ever with nightly conference calls, weekly meetings, conventions, advance training’s etc. etc. All of which line there filthy little pockets!

Aren’t you sick and tired of being SICK AND TIRED?

Listen! I have not been on one conference call, attended a weekly or monthly meeting, purchasing over priced company marketing material or attended a convention in over a year and guess what! MY TEAMS CONTINUE TO GROW AND MAKE ME MONEY; DAILY, WEEKLY AND MONTHLY!!! All while I spend every hour of every day at home with my family.

STOP THE INSANITY (using a phrase from Susan Powter) and let’s get going.

Did you know RIGHT NOW is the best time to be recruiting white collar professionals? Sure! When the economy is in a slump (which I don’t plan in participating in) white collar professionals are all looking for a Plan-B. Can you offer them a way to supplement their income? SURE YOU CAN!!!

Go where the white collar professionals go and recruit them from there. Yes, I’m talking about resume recruiting. If you have not tried it you are sadly missing the boat.

On a totally different note I HAVE LOST 28-POUNDS in the last couple of months. The only thing I have changed is I take a nutritional drink from a company which I’m promoting and I began doing Krav Maga. Krav Maga is the official self defense system of the Israeli Defense Forces, and has been taught to hundreds of law enforcement agencies and thousands of civilians in the United States. The workout is insane and a lot of fun.

Hey folks, it’s been a while since my last blog post. As previously mentioned I have been doing quite a bit of traveling recently along with doing some consulting work.

It is nice to have multiple streams of income which allows me to travel and still earn a fantastic income.

While having dinner with friends last week a friend of mine recommended the book The 4-Hour Work Week by Tim Ferriss. You have to admit that the title grabs you. The next day I visited my local Barnes and Noble and flipped through the book. What I read was interesting so I bought a copy and blew through it within a day. It is that good!

In his book The Four Hour Work Week, Tim Ferris says that most people don’t really want to be worth millions. What they want is the lifestyle of what having millions will bring. To most people that boils down to having the time to enjoy doing what you want. Tim calls this having mini-retirements.

What I love about MLM and Network Marketing is it gives us the ability to take these mini-retirements - IF YOU BUILD YOUR BUSINESS THE RIGHT WAY! If you don’t then you are destined to be a slave to your team by promoting and hosting weekly business briefings, in home meetings etc.

I have always been big on outsourcing the grunt work and more times then I can remember this ‘rock the boat’ mentality has gotten me in trouble with the powers to be; jealous upline, corporate office etc.

However, I am now able to live a lifestyle that most people could only dream of because of not accepting the status quo.

Imagine being able to travel the world (pennies on the dollar like I do) while generating a consistent income which pays you daily.

Like Tim Ferris says in his book, “earn in dollars, live on pesos and compensate in rupees.”

Do yourself a favor and get a copy of the book “The 4-Hour Work Week.”

While I won’t talk about which company I did this with I will tell you that myself and two other members of my team swept the Top 3 Recruiter positions with our company.

This was announced this weekend at our companies annual convention.

I took #1 AGAIN!

In fact, this is the 5th company that I have been the top recruiter with. I have marketed everything from; long distance, travel, legal services, identity theft services, vitamins etc. and in EVERY COMPANY I have taken the top position but more importantly I have trained some of the top recruiters in those companies.

Earning residual income from several sources MONTH AFTER MONTH - is awesome!!!

Listen! It is so simple to make money in Network Marketing. Last year (about this time) I joined a new up and coming company. 2 weeks after joining this company they were having their first convention. My wife and I decided to go and to our surprise we were #5 top recruiters for the company even though we had been in the business less then 2-weeks.

I earned $10,140 my first month with that business and it has been paying me a 4-5 figures monthly ever since. Recently they added more money to the compensation plan so my income will jump even higher.

Also 5-months ago or so I joined a nutritional company which is paying me around $8k a month. YOU GOTTA LOVE THIS INDUSTRY!

Although I have 127 ways I build my businesses the top two are:

Remember, you need to be doing something EVERY SINGLE DAY if you are going to create momentum. And don’t wait around for your weekly business briefing (yuck). Aren’t you sick and tired of putting $5-$10 a week in the pockets of those big mouths at the front of the room? Most of them are using the techniques I teach to ‘REALLY’ create success anyways!

Let me ask you a quick question.

Doesn’t this video remind you of network marketing?

It starts off with people treating you like you have the plague. Most of the early people will be your family and friends who will laugh at you and ridicule you for wanting to do something ‘different’ then the norm.

Eventually you will have some success if you “stick around” long enough and start treating your business LIKE A BUSINESS! And that means you have to learn to market and promote your business and its products/services.

Problem is when you finally start to achieve some success by going off the reservation and trying something different you will always catch riff from either the company or your “old school” upline.

Well the bottomline is if you really want to succeed in this industry then you have to act and think like a business owner. Too many uplines and companies nowadays talk about being an entrepreneur but they really just want you to be an amroid and follow their every move - even if that means that you will fail. They realize that if enough people will follow them then the upline will have some success and they are more then willing to sacrifice you and me for their success.

Folks I failed miserably for my first 4-years in network marketing. Here is why:

I was taught that these were the “only” way to build my business.

• Build a names list of 100 people. Companies and uplines love teaching you this. Why? If they have 10,000 rep’s and everyone builds a “names list” of 100 people they now have a million names of people they can market their products and opportunity to! BUT what did this do for “your business?” OK…maybe you added 1 or 2 rep’s to your downline and got yourself a whopping check for $7.71. If this is your “system” then you will undoubtedly fall flat on your face and fail.
• Hotel meetings. Give me a break, is it still 1972? Doesn’t going to a “hotel meeting” defeat the purpose of having a home-based business?

So how do you succeed in network marketing?

Simple! You create an easy to duplicate system that anyone and everyone can follow. First and foremost your “prospects” are going to want to know “how” they are going to be able to build their business in their “spare time!” They want to have such a simple system that they can keep their job or career and “squeeze in” this new venture. They are not looking to join some cult that will take over every aspect of their life.

When you are talking with a prospect you need to “LEAD WITH YOUR SYSTEM!” Forget talking about your products formulation process, quality of your service providers or even how profitable the compensation plan is.

Remember your prospects DO NOT CARE about anything except how can they succeed at this in their spare time! Until you answer that question for them then they are not interested in joining your business or buying your products.

Are you friends sick and tired of you bringing over another slick salesmen who is “just trying to help you” make some money?

Everyday there are about 500,000 blog posts published on MySpace covering diverse topic including politics, entertainment, technology, and a plethora of other topics. There is an audience reading these blogs that you can obtain. With a little effort and an understanding of how to target a market on MySpace, you can create word of mouth about your current blog or website while building a strong audience that you can transition off of MySpace  and direct to your website.
